My first in-person conference in 25 months! Couldn't have asked for a better in-person setting than #AWSSummit in San Francisco!

Amazing to reflect on the experience of being at the AWS Summit yesterday. The tech scene in the cloud ecosystem is 🔥...so many amazing solutions, startups and conversations at the AWS Expo!

Honestly, I was on the fence about going to this event - missed the first day and almost did not make it on day 2 as well. Would it be safe? Would it be too crowded and busy like the AWS:reinvent (where I had heard Werner Vogels and Andy Jassy speaking for the first time years ago) ? Who would be there to meet with? Was it going to be worth my time to attend?

Well, it was definitely worth the time! Wonderful energy and a very well organized setup. Lots of exciting new product announcements at the opening keynote by Amazon Web Services (AWS)VP Swami Sivasubramanian and success stories by customers including Salesforce, Mapbox and more.

Impressed to see the big keynote hall transformed in the afternoon with 6 sessions going on in parallel without noise pollution- thanks to the quiet headsets at each attendee seat!

Bonus- I did get to meet up with the US President's National AI Advisory Committee member after his keynote session (Congrats again Swami Sivasubramanian!) Thanks Shikha Verma for the pix!!

I reconnected with a couple of old friends, made new friends along the way (howdy Harsh Shah Cockroach Labs Sunita Sharma Nanda Shanmugam Amruta Moktali Skyflow David Ftacnik Rajani Raj Harness Charishma Seenappa) and met some of my social media friends too 😎

Thanks to everyone I met at AWS Summit and for all the insightful discussions at the booths. I learned a lot along the way, was inspired by all the innovative startups and cloud partners I found on the EXPO floor and the diversity of talent in the AWS ecosystem that I spoke with.

And huge props to the AWS Startups and AWS partner team for the invitation - my first as a Veridic Solutions employee!
